Vanessa Moreira, a Brazilian national, is a Statistician working as a consultant for the World Bank in Washington DC. She joined the Development Data Group (DECDG) to work on health indicator data and support the implementation of new database quality management practices and procedures. She is currently working with the MNSSP team on data analysis and operation support on social protection programs for the Middle East and North Africa region. Prior to that she worked at the World Bank, including at DECRG and PRMVP. She holds an MSc in Statistics from George Washington University (GWU), a BSc in Statistics from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and has a graduate certificate in Survey Design and data Analysis, also from GWU.
