Vica is a Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Specialist in the ECA Urban and DRM unit in GSURR. She is also a core team member of GFDRR’s Global Program for Safer Schools. Prior to joining the Bank, Vica worked in United States Congress, the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and the Netherlands Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan. She holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Master's degree in History from the University of Amsterdam.
