Victoire Girard is a research fellow in economics at the University of Orléans Labex Voltaire and an occasional lecturer at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. She is an applied micro economist interested in questions in development economics, political economy and natural resources economics. Her ongoing work documents how affirmative action or natural resource affect inequality, identity and violence.
