Eiman Osman is an economist and statistician working with the Poverty and Equity Global Practice based in Khartoum, Sudan. She has strong experience in Statistical Capacity Building projects and High-Frequency Surveys. With a research interest in inequality, gender, and the labor market, Eiman published several papers in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Social Science Studies and Advances in Social Sciences Research Journal. She has a strong commitment to instilling knowledge into the future generation; she teaches statistics courses at the undergraduate level. She also co-founded the first Sudanese Women Economist Association (SWEA) to help fill the gender gap in Sudanese policymaking. Eiman received her MSc in Statistics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and her BSc in Econometrics and Social Statistics from the University of Khartoum.
