Audrey Sacks is a Senior Social Development Specialist in the Social Sustainability and Inclusion (SSI) GP based in the ECA region. Currently, she is managing a multi-donor trust fund on the sustainable production of cotton in Uzbekistan and research programs on human trafficking and forced displacement, as well as overseeing Community-Driven Development operations in Kyrgyz Republic. Previously, she was based in the World Bank’s Indonesia country office with the Social Development Program. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology. Her work on the bureaucracy, government legitimacy, social network analysis, and conflict has been published as journal articles and book chapters.
