Mirja Sjoblom is a Senior Economist with the Global Financing Facility, working on issues related to health financing and service delivery reforms. Her expertise was built over 15 years of various assignments with the World Bank in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Currently she is co-leading GFF’s collaboration with the Governance GP to improve governance and PFM systems in GFF supported countries. She received her M Sc. in Economics and International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics, is a PhD candidate in health policy at the University of Edinburgh, faculty of the Managing Markets for Health course and has published multiple articles and co-authored books on topics related to health systems, international migration and gender.
