Ranjan Samantaray is currently a Senior Agriculture Specialist with the Agriculture and Food Global Practice at the World Bank’s New Delhi Office. His currently works in areas like climate smart agriculture, agribusiness strategy, digital transformation in agri-food systems for rural transformation. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked with many bilateral and multi-lateral development agencies and has several publications on agriculture and allied sectors. He holds a master’s degree in agriculture science from Bangor University of Wales with specialization in Hydrology.
