Shane Romig is an External Affairs Officer with the office of the Chief Economist and Development Economics. He joined the World Bank in 2016 managing communications at the Argentina country office and came to Washington to work in the Latin America and the Caribbean regional vice presidency in 2017. Prior to Joining the World Bank, Shane was a foreign correspondent for the Wall Street Journal in South America. He is a licensed attorney with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. Shane is originally from Hawaii, but has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Argentina, California and now Washington.
