Abdishakur Ahmed is the co-founder of SomLite, an off-grid solar product financing and distribution company that focuses rural communities in Somaliland. He has many years of experience working in the energy sector and other infrastructure projects in the Somali regions. Abdishakur was one of 100 Young Global Changers selected by Think 20 GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, a sister event of the G20 summit in Hamburg. He is also an ambassador at the One Young World. Abdishakur graduated with a BA in Finance from Somalia’s Abaarso Tech University, and an MSc in Engineering Management from Gollis University.
