Abdoulaye Sy is a Lead Country Economist and Program Leader at the World Bank. He works on Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and Malta. He joined the Word Bank in 2011 as a Young Professional and has worked since on the Latin America and East Asia regions. His previous positions include Senior Economist roles in Indonesia and Tunisia. Abdoulaye holds a PhD and Masters Degrees in Development Economics from the University of California Berkeley in the USA and the Ecole Polytechnique in France.
