Alex Vaval

Consultant in the Agriculture and Food Global Practice

Alex Vaval is a consultant in the Agriculture and Food Global Practice of the World Bank. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Economics and Development at the Paris School of Economics. His research focuses on poverty, determinants of consumption patterns and the impact of agricultural public support on production decisions. Prior to joining the bank, he was a research assistant at the University of California in Davis. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from the University of Bordeaux.
