Amani A. Dawai is a quality-driven media and communication professional with five years’ experience working with international non-government organization and online and mainstream media in Tanzania. He currently works with Save the Children as a Media and Communications Assistant. He possesses excellent skills, practical knowledge, and relevant qualification in the areas of media engagement, content gathering and packaging, creative works for both mainstream and online media, strategic public engagement and designing and implementation of communication strategies, having worked with local and national media houses and international non-government organizations.
Over the years, Amani has offered leadership and technical expertise in conceptualizing and communicating the advocacy and campaigns agendas, communications for influencing policy, and championing of media work; contributing towards positive growth and sustainable change. He is skilled in photography and video, graphic design, story-telling in the development sector, social media management, events planning and management, media relations, and translation work.
