Amer Al-Ghorbany is an Environmental Specialist with the Environment, Natural Resources, and Blue Economy Global Practice at the World Bank Group. He has more than 15 years’ experience in environmental assessment and risk management and extensive experience in the environmental safeguarding of development operations in Fragile, Conflict, and Violent (FCV) situations. This includes working with other development partners and United Nation (UN) agencies. Amer has a PhD and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Resource Management from Brandenburg University in Germany.
