Amrik Heyer is the Head of Research at Financial Sector Deepening Kenya (FSD). Amrik directs a range of research initiatives which analyse the impact of financial market development on poverty and wellbeing; analyse the values and behavioural drivers of uptake and usage of financial solutions in developing financial markets; provide data and analytics to inform policy and support innovation and commercial development for inclusive growth and poverty reduction. Amrik holds a PhD in Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies. She lives and works in Kenya.
