Anna Tabitha Bonfert leads efforts within the Gender Group to ensure the continued growth of core gender data activities of the Gender Group, including the Gender Data Portal. She is co-leading the World Bank’s Strengthening Gender Statistics project focusing on statistical capacity building in IDA-19 countries. Previously, she was part of the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice in the Latin America and Caribbean region. She holds a M.A. in Global Human Development from Georgetown University, a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Tübingen, and a M.B.A. in International Healthcare Management from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
