Before becoming a Research Fellow at ODI, Bryn worked for DFID Sierra Leone as a Governance Adviser leading on DFID’s tax reform, aid coordination and decentralisation agenda. Before this, he was an adviser to the Budget Director in the Ministry of Finance in Malawi between 2008 and 2010. Prior to moving to Malawi, he worked on public spending control and public sector efficiency issues in HM Treasury in UK for several years.
