Cem Dener is a senior public sector specialist within the PREM Governance and Public Sector Management practice. Since 2004, h has been working on the improvement of Public Financial Management (PFM) practices and the development of Treasury / Financial Management Information System solutions in all regions. He is one of the authors of the World Bank’s FMIS Study (April 2011). He is also involved in the organization of regional knowledge sharing and learning events, and the formation of communities of practice. He received BSME from METU, Ankara, Turkey (1982), MSc from Cranfield Institute of Technology, Bedford, U.K. (1985), and PhD from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium (1992) working on modeling complex systems.
