Edward Beukes is a Senior Urban Transport Specialist in the Transport Global Practice at the World Bank. He has been active in the transport sector across Southern Africa for nearly 20 years, working on primarily urban transport, rural roads and freeways, public transport and transport policy both in private practice, academia and the public sector. Edward has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, an MBA, and a Master’s Degree and Ph.D in Transport Planning.
