Emilie Perge is a senior economist in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank in the East Asia and Pacific Region. Previously she was an economist in the Latin America Region. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2015, Emilie was a postdoctoral fellow at the Earth Institute at Columbia University in New York. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed academic journals, and various Word Bank reports. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's in Sustainable and Development Economics from Paris X-Nanterre. She received a DPhil in economics from the University of Sussex.
