Fang Zhang is an Agriculture Economist in the Agriculture and Food Team of the Europe and Central Asia Sustainable Development Group, based in Washington, DC. Fang is currently leading the Western Balkan's Greening Agriculture ASA and working on operations in Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia. Before she joined the ECA region, Fang worked on operations and programmatic ASAs in South Asia in the fields of climate smart agriculture, food systems and natural resources management. Fang co-authored and contributed to several WB publications related to food systems and governance. Fang holds an MPA in Public Policy and International Rural Development from Cornell University, an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a BEng in Logistics Engineering from Changsha University of Science & Technology, China.
