Social Protection Specialist, World Bank

Felix Lung is a Social Protection Specialist at the World Bank working on adaptive social protection, disaster risk financing and youth employment. His work focuses on the intersection of scalable safety nets and disaster risk financing. He supports operations in the West African Sahel and leads different analytical outputs related to shock response. Before joining the World Bank, he worked for the African Risk Capacity and was a Foreign Service Officer in the German Federal Foreign Office. He holds a Masters in Economics and International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a First State Exam in Law from the Bucerius Law School.
