Felix is a consultant for the Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance (DRFI) program of the World Bank – GFDRR DRFI program. He focuses on agricultural insurance, as well as on institutional design and legal questions relating to disaster risk financing. Felix started his career as an associate for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Berlin, followed by building up the NGO PROJECT-E in Ethiopia. He first started working on drought insurance with the African Risk Capacity at the World Food Program in 2012, before joining the World Bank in 2014. He holds an M.A. in Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C., as well as a First Judicial Exam from the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany.
