Gene Kindberg-Hanlon is an Economist in the World Bank’s Prospects Group. He is currently researching a range of macroeconomic topics. Previously, he worked in the Bank of England’s International Directorate, forecasting the world economy, and prior to that, covered banking and sovereign financial stability issues in Europe. He holds an MSc. in economics from University College London and a BSc. from the University of York.
