Dr. Jan Priebe currently is a research fellow with the Institute of Asian Studies at GIGA (Germany). His research focuses on education, health, and social protection topics in Indonesia where he worked for several years for the country’s vice president office (TNP2K). Over the last 15 years he filled roles as policy adviser and researcher for various development organizations such BMZ, DEVCO, DFID, DFAT, GIZ, KfW, UNICEF, and the World Bank. He holds a PhD in development economics from the University of Göttingen (Germany).
