Kanupriya Misra is a Consultant in the World Bank's Education Global Practice in the South Asia Region, where she works on lending operations and analytical activities in early childhood education and skills development. Before joining the World Bank, she provided technical and management leadership to projects focused on improving student learning and system-wide reforms, working closely with policymakers across South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a Masters in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics and an M.Ed. in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, which she attended with a full scholarship from the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program.
