Katrin Schulz joined the Women, Business and the Law project in 2013 where she primarily researches and analyzes legal restrictions on women’s work across the globe. She previously worked for the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and for a labor and employment law firm in Washington, DC. She also worked on women’s rights issues while at Legal Momentum’s Immigrant Women Program and at American University Washington College of Law’s International Human Rights Law Clinic. Katrin holds a JD concentrating in labor and international law from American University Washington College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Studies in Women and Gender from the University of Virginia. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
