Laila Tawfik Anaam is the managing director of the Yemen Loan Guarantee Program at the Social Fund for Development focusing on the social and economic empowerment of women and youth in the microfinance industry in Yemen. Prior to her current position, she was a senior manager in a local NGO in Yemen, SOUL for Development, working closely in women and youth empowerment, health and child rights implementation projects. Anaam received her degree of Bachelor Business Administration minoring in economics from the American University, Cairo in 2010.
