Lillian Foo is Communications Lead for the Jobs Group, where she oversees strategic communications and external outreach for group, including the Multi-donor Trust Fund for Jobs and Let’s Work Programs. Prior to this position, she led the communications work in the Macroeconomics and Financial Management Global Practice of the World Bank, where she managed strategic communications for the Senior Director, oversaw the web and online channels for the Practice, and worked with country economists to manage the communications of policy advice and recommendations to key stakeholder groups. She has also worked on Fragile and Conflict affected states, in particular South Sudan, where she managed external relations and developed and implemented outreach campaigns for the World Bank Group to media, CSOs and policy makers, as the country was transitioning to independence. A former photojournalist, Lillian has over 15 years of communications and development experience, and holds a Masters in Public Administration and Development Finance from the Maxwell School of Public Policy.
