Maciej Drozd is an economist with the competition policy team of the World Bank. Between 2010 and 2016, Maciej championed regulatory impact assessments in the Polish government, most recently leading the RIA team at the Polish Prime Minister’s Office. Maciej was also fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, sharing lessons from regulatory reforms in Poland and researching behaviorally informed alternatives to regulation. Prior to public service, Maciej worked for international management consultancy A.T. Kearney on consolidation and integration of European energy companies. Maciej holds degrees in economics and public policy from Columbia University in New York, the National University of Singapore, and Warsaw School of Economics.
