Maria Victoria Traverso is an Agriculture Specialist at the World Bank, working on themes related to agriculture and food systems. Her operational and analytical experience focuses on rural inclusion, competitiveness, market access, and climate-smart agriculture. Before joining the World Bank, she worked as a trade analyst for the food and agriculture department in a Spanish Governmental institution, and for her family beekeeping enterprise.
