Marko Olavi Rissanen, a Finnish national, is a Program Manager for Prices and International Comparisons at the Economic, Debt, and Price Data unit of the World Bank’s Development Data Group in Washington, DC.

Since joining the Bank in 2011, he has worked extensively on the International Comparison Program (ICP), statistical capacity building, and food prices, and researched new innovative solutions and methods for data collection and visualization. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked for six years in the Economic and Environmental Statistics Unit at Statistics Finland.

Marko holds a master’s degree from the University of Helsinki.
