Minna Kononen is an Operations Officer at the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Secretariat, where she works on monitoring GEF’s corporate results in achieving global environmental benefits. She also works with the Food and Agriculture Global Practice of the World Bank, supporting operations teams to identify sustainable and climate-smart approaches. Prior to joining the GEF, she served as Programme Officer for Climate Change and Environment with the United Nations Development Programme in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Minna has M. Soc. Sc. from the University of Helsinki and she was a visiting junior Fulbright Scholar at the University of California at Berkeley.
