Nicholas Keyes is the Communications Officer for ESMAP, the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program. Prior to joining the Bank in mid-2011, he was based in Asia for seven years, where he worked as a communications officer for UNDP and the World Food Program. He most recently was Communications Director for the ECO-Asia Clean Development and Climate Program. a pan-Asian USAID program focused on scaling up renewable energy and energy efficiency. He has also served as the communications advisor for the UN country offices in Thailand and Myanmar. He holds an MBA and a Master's in International Studies, both from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA.
