Ms. Paivi Koskinen-Lewis is a Sr. Social Development Specialist in the Regional Safeguards Secretariat for SAR in OPCS. Previously she worked in the Africa region where she focused on a broad range of social development issues, including social safeguards like involuntary resettlement. She is the lead author of the Small Island States Resilience Initiative Knowledge Note: Managing Population Retreat from At-Risk Areas. Prior to working for the WBG, she worked with the UN Department for Peacekeeping Operations in the office of the gender focal point.
