Periklis Saragiotis is a Senior Private Sector Specialist working for the Global Trade & Regional Integration unit of the WBG. He has firm understanding of the global trade and transport logistics trends, challenges and opportunities and possesses extensive experience on trade facilitation compliance policies, especially in relation to the Trade Facilitation Agreement of the World Trade Organization (WTO-TFA). He had supported several lending and advisory projects in the area of trade facilitation & border management, with special focus on port and maritime operations and procedures.

Periklis also contributes to the global research and analysis of selected trade logistics policy and regulatory issues. Under his project portfolio, he has led or supported lending and advisory programs in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and Europe and Central Asia (ECA) regions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
