Peter Waita is a Senior Registration officer in the Protection section in UNHCR Uganda. He has over a decade of experience in registration and identity management, data management, information management and statistical analysis, having worked in various UNHCR operations, mainly in Africa, and several UN agencies. He is a strong advocate for the consistent application of global registration standards and a data-driven decision approach in development and implementation of solutions. He holds a degree in Geospatial Engineering from the University of Nairobi.
