Finalist of LJD Week 2019 Law Student Contest for Development Solutions

Jameson Pierre-Louis is a young jurist, aspiring “changemaker,” and law student in his final year of studies at the Public University of The South in les Cayes (UPSAC) in Haiti.  Jameson also serves as Campus Director for the 2020 Hult Prize on Campus Program at UPSAC to train, educate, and inspire students by building an impact community around On Campus activities leading up to the 2020 Hult Prize Challenge.  Additionally, he has been working as Official Ambassador of the World Youth Summit since August 2019.

Jameson decided to pursue legal studies, as he is convinced, law is one of the greatest tools for social change.  He is also passionate about novel technologies that he perceives as powerful development tools states must adopt.  Jameson is part of Harvard University’s Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program 2020, a prestigious and a fully-funded career development opportunity to create a diverse pipeline of future graduate students at leading universities and future leaders from across an array of social-economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds.  For some of Jameson’s innovative ideas, please read his blog (https://drakepot.blogspot.com/) and follow him on social media.
