Rekha Reddy is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist in the World Bank Group’s Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice. Currently based in Kuala Lumpur, she manages the Bank’s engagement on financial sector issues in Malaysia.
Rekha joined the World Bank as a Young Professional in 2008 and has worked across the Asia and Latin America regions where she managed lending operations, technical assistance and research programs. Prior to joining the World Bank, Rekha worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and at microfinance network, ACCION International. She holds a BA in economics from Columbia University and an MPA in Economics and Public policy from Princeton University.
Rekha is from the United States and speaks English and Spanish.
