Health, Nutrition and Population Consultant

Ritgak joined the World Bank’s Health Nutrition and Population Unit in Nigeria working on innovative approaches under the Results Based Financing umbrella designed to reach over 14 million Nigerians with basic healthcare services as well as to strengthen sector governance and accountability. She also works with Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria leading on short and long-term strategies for innovation and partnerships and curating the Nigeria Health Innovation Marketplace. Ritgak is an Impact Business Leader trained in Social Enterprise and Impact Investing at the Oxford Said Business School. Her passion is around health sector governance and accountability, institutional capability maturity and innovations for healthcare delivery.

Ritgak spent a few years working with the West African arm of pan-African management consulting firm (Management Strategies for Africa) on assignments for government, development partners, private and non-profit clients. These include strategic planning, capacity building, operational research, analytical work, program evaluation, and documentation for a wide range of health sector projects spanning HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Health and Maternal and Child Heath. She has also worked independently on various pieces of research as well as been an independent consultant to various organizations particularly on Health Systems, Financing, Evidence to Policy, scale-up of health sector innovations as well as Learning and Evaluation.
