Siddharth Sharma

Senior Economist, Trade and Competitiveness Practice, World Bank
Siddharth Sharma is an economist at the World Bank, specializing in issues of firm-level productivity, the impact of business regulations on firms, and the functioning of labor markets in developing countries.  His research has been published in peer-reviewed economics journal, and he has also contributed chapters to a number of World Bank policy reports, including the forthcoming World Development Report on governance, regional flagship reports on topics such as youth employment in Africa, the economic effects of an aging population, and managing financial tradeoffs for inclusive growth in Europe and Central Asia. Siddharth has an MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University.  He has been with the World Bank since 2006.
