Smrithi Talwar is a social scientist and environmental lawyer (PhD, University of Cambridge, LLM London School of Economics), currently working in the Bank’s South Asia Social Development Sector (SASDS) on issues related to land. Previously Smrithi Talwar has worked on environment and development policy in a number of countries (Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Switzerland, UK) in positions that entailed a mixture of policy analysis/ policy advocacy, program management, and development of relations with a range of stakeholders.
