Swati Ghosh is Economic Adviser in the Macro Fiscal Management Global Practice of the World Bank Group. She has led work on macroeconomic and macrofinancial issues in client countries in East Asia and Eastern Europe. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Oxford University and an M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics. She has published in professional publications and academic journals, including the Journal of International Money and Finance, International Monetary Fund Staff Papers, Applied Economic Letters, Macroeconomics and Finance in Emerging Markets, Journal of International Commerce, Economics and Policy and the Journal of International Economics.
