Varun Kshirsagar is a consultant with a decade of experience studying food price and weather shocks and working on large development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has worked with the World Bank, USAID, NASA and the UN on issues related to food security and early warning systems. He has a PhD in Economics from North Carolina State University and BA in Economics from the University of Mumbai.
