·         Call for Papers: the 2013 ABCDE development economics conference will be held at the World Bank in June 2013 – papers or long abstracts due end of January 2013. Theme is “risk and vulnerability”.

·         The German Socioeconomic Panel (SOEP) is having a competition for researchers to add their own questions to the ongoing panel surveys – so if you have an innovative set of questions that could benefit from being asked in a context with lots of other longitudinal data available, this could be a good opportunity.
