“The website has something for everyone. Someone who just has one minute and really knows what they’re looking for, to someone who wants to do research and explore the database, or an application developer who wants to link to the database directly” - Shaida Badiee, Director Development Data Group, World Bank

These data give a better understanding the human condition in some of the poorest countries and developing economies around the world.

The site allows users several ways to access the data they are looking for. There are several options to find the information and use it effectively. The Data home page offers users the option to access the data directly through the database, by country, by topic, or by indicator. All of the available databases and other data sources are listed in the Data Catalog.

If additional data for the topic is needed, the Data Catalog is readily accessible for a complete list of databases, reports, and tables.
