We will launch the Global Knowledge Partnership on Migration and Development (KNOMAD) on Friday April 19th, on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the IMF. At this event we will also present the new Migration and Development Brief with the latest data and outlook for migration and remittance flows worldwide. Please see the agenda.
The KNOMAD initiative aims to help all countries by providing a menu of policy choices on migration and global development using multi-disciplinary and evidence-based knowledge. In addition to creating or synthesizing knowledge, its work program includes TA, capacity building, and pilot policy operations in sending and receiving countries.
A heads up on the outlook for migration and remittances: no major surprises there; but then you never know!
The event is open to the media and the public. If you want to attend, please contact me
