Public private dialogue

This page in:

Dialogue is like baking bread – the ingredients are simple but it takes know-how to get it right.

That’s Benjamin Herzberg, organizer of the first international workshop on public private dialogue for investment climate reform. It seems that he's not alone in appreciating the complexities of making the private and public sectors interact in diagnosing, designing, implementing and monitoring investment climate reforms. Delegations from 25 countries joined him in Paris this February to share experience and take stock of lessons learned. During the event a Charter of Good Practice in Public Private Dialogue for Private Sector Development was drafted, and is now awaiting public comments on their new web site: PublicPrivateDialogue.org.
