The Private Sector Development Knowledge Management group is looking for a web editor/writer. See the terms of reference. More information below the fold.
The ideal candidate will have experience in writing and editing for the Web in a strategic, journalistic, policy-oriented style on topics related to international economic development and private sector development in particular. Proven writing and editing skills, and a strong command of English, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, direct and lively style is essential. Strong candidates will also have experience with developing web sites and introducing innovations to improve usability, functionality, design and appeal. Applicants should be entrepreneurial, energetic, and able to work in a very fast-paced working environment. Experience in a development organization or policy think tank strongly preferred. Thematic experience with international development, foreign direct investment, business environment, and privatization issues and terminology will also be very useful.
