Aaron Levine is a Senior Operations Officer and Sustainable Finance expert with IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank. Aaron works across a variety of global green finance initiatives. He is specifically involved a range of initiatives in Asia to ‘green the financial sector’ including taxonomy and disclosure development, bond frameworks, and broader analytical work to catalyze green investment. He advised the Fiji government in the first emerging economy sovereign green bond issuance, authored the guide for sovereign green bonds, has developed green and thematic bond guidelines for several countries, and is the co-author of an imminent joint World Bank-IMF paper on principles for alignment approaches supporting financing for climate change mitigation.
