Aaron Rosenberg is currently the Chief for Public Affairs at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. IFC’s mission is to promote sustainable private sector investment in developing countries. Mr. Rosenberg is responsible for managing IFC’s policy communications and engagement with key stakeholders, and manages or advises on corporate reputational risk and other strategic communication issues. Prior to joining IFC in 2008, Mr. Rosenberg held several positions in the international trade field. He was a Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative, in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), responsible for developing and coordinating U. S. policy on international trade and labor matters globally, including free trade agreement negotiations, trade preference programs, and other trade and investment issues. He was also an international economist in the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce and was a fellow on the House Ways and Means Committee staff. Mr. Rosenberg graduated with a BA in Government and a Master’s in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
