Aarushi is a consultant at the World Bank Group, Washington D.C. Her work with the Women, Business and the Law project at Development Economics Global Indicators Group focuses on legal research and analysis of violence against women legislation. She also works with the Macro, Trade and Investment GP on measurement and evaluation of the Improving Business Environment for Prosperity (IBEP) project. Prior to joining the Bank, Aarushi worked in the private and non-profit sector, notably on program evaluation, coordination, strategy and results management frameworks. She has worked in diverse industries including textiles, agriculture, tourism, and financial inclusion and gender has always been a cross-cutting theme throughout her projects. An Indian national, she holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Delhi.
